Steve Peretz and Michael Chesal gave a one hour CLE presentation titled “Hidden IP Law Issues for the Business Lawyer” to attorneys at the Boca Raton, Florida offices of Sax Sach & Caplan today. Peretz Chesal & Herrmann developed its “Hidden IP” series of CLE programs to provide non-IP attorneys with an overview of trademark, patent and copyright law issues that are of importance to transactional and other business attorneys. The “Hidden IP Law Issues for the Business Lawyer” seminar provides an overview of trademark, patent and copyright law, identifies potential intellectual property pitfalls and explains what business lawyers can do to help their clients avoid intellectual property litigation, ensure they own the copyrights, trademarks and inventions that are important to their businesses and avoid the inadvertent loss of valuable intellectual property rights.
